Plain City 1st and 2nd Ward Cookbook

When the Plain City Ward was split into two wards, back in the early 1960’s, the Relief Society put together a cookbook.   My mom bought one for my sister and me.  I used it for many years after I was married.  The book is full of recipes from my mom, aunts, grandmas and great-aunts.  I wanted my daughters to have a copy so I decided to redo it.  CCI26122015_18

I recreated it, exactly as it had been printed.  If you had any relatives in Plain City in the early sixties, chances are there is a recipe from them!

If you are interested in buying a copy please message me and I will contact you.  The price is $15 or 2 for $25.

Recipe Books

My Mom, JeNeal Skeen Thomas,  my Grandma Florence Taylor England and all of my aunts were excellent cooks.   The family memories that I have of the England family always involved food.  My sister, Kathy started to collect all of those recipes and she created a cookbook for our daughters and daughter-in-laws and now our granddaughters.  The book is full of family favorites that will be kept alive for generations to come.  CCI19122015
